Unfortunately we will not be able to meet at Bar Cento this Sunday for book club. I am looking into the upstairs of Lolita however not sure if I can get it on such short notice. If anyone has any other ideas please let me know. Thanks!!!

Thanks for coming out ladies....and gentleman. For those of you who couldn't make it, we have decided to read Cat's Cradle as our next book. We decided to pick a book that KV mentioned in A Man Without a Country.

If your group begins to get tired after two or three of Vonnegut's stranger novels, you might want to read "Welcome to the Monkey House." It's a collection of his short stories written when he was a young author. These stories appeared in magazines like Colliers and Ladies Home Journal when magazines still carried fiction. Some are traditional, some are sci-fi. But the book might make for a nice change of pace at some point.
If Louisiana should ever have a brother, name him Mistersippi.
